NFL on Xbox One brings real-time NFL news, stats, video highlights, Fantasy Football, and home team personalization straight to Xbox One. While interning at Microsoft BigPark, I had the opportunity to be a part of the team to refresh the 2014 version of the app.
The goals for the 2014 refresh were to modernize and simplify. I explored visual treatments and behaviours specifically for the highlight cards. I looked at ways to emphasize content and to add meaning to the gameplay story.
The final elements were implemented not only on the Xbox One app but also for the Surface app.
